Terra Solar has experience with building integrated photovoltaics (BIPV). Installing BIPV during construction of a building not only reduces material building costs but also generates electricity for the building. Thin-film amorphous silicon (a-Si) is especially suitable for BIPV due to its inherently translucent nature. Our past BIPV projects include the Dutch Housing Project and the 4 Times Square Building.
Working with governments and non-profits... Terra Solar has experience in working with government and non-profit entities. In the United States, we have designed systems for community projects that are both functional and educational. Some of our projects include the Merchant Marine Academy and Native American Photovoltaics.
